Sea Pen is unique and is NOT a boat lift. Sea Pen advanced dry docking technology keeps your boat moored dry at water level allowing you to just step on board anytime and enjoy your boat. It is very easy to use, within minutes you're on your way and it is low profile. What do we mean by that?

The Sea Pen is not a boatlift or air dock and keeps your boat at water level but not in the water. It is typically lower in the water than a normal pontoon. You and your neighbours will be happy as the Sea Pen won't detract from the appearance of your boat at your mooring and certainly won't block your view. Whether it's a powerboat, a catamaran, a deep keel racing yacht or a 100ft superyacht we have a Sea Pen model to suit.

Traditional boatlifts and airdocks are limited by the weight of the boat. Sea Pen doesn't lift the boat, it simply creates a barrier between the hull and the water and keeps the hull 100% dry. There ís no extra stress or pressure points placed on the hull which can happen when a boat is lifted.

As your boat is moored dry you never need to anti-foul your boat. The hull of your boat and the running gear (props, shafts, stern drives, keels)are protected from growth, whether that is barnacles, weed, coral worm, mussels etc. Once your Sea Pen is up and dry around your boat, it is completely isolated from the sea water giving you boat hull protection when it is at its berth.

Options

The Sea Pen suits boats from 6m - 30m (20 - 100ft). There are models to suit various berthing configurations - nose-in, reverse berth and side entry berthing. In a tight berthing situation? No problem, we will most likely have a solution for you.

There are also options such as remote control or SMS from your mobile phone. Imagine - your boat's at the marina, a severe storm goes over and you're interstate ... simply text your Sea Pen and it will reply with its status! This is just one of many useful features.

What about the cost benefits? You will actually save $$$$.

Clean Hull - With your new boat, there are a couple of things to remember.

1. Keeping your boat dry means you don't need anti fouling, not just a cost but a hassle to get your boat to the slip every six to nine months.
2. Every time you take your boat out on the water it will perform like new. You'll love your boating and you'll really notice your fuel savings with a clean bottom.
3. Motor maintenance is reduced because motors are stored dry in a Sea Pen after they are flushed in fresh water (It's easy to flush motors with fresh water in a Sea Pen).
4. Increase your re-sale value - your boat will remain in pristine condition. Just ask a boat broker what difference keeping your boat dry will make when you come to sell.
